In all the plugin files, there will be a function that will check for its updates. To disable plugin updates we can put this code in the theme functions.php file.This is a working code and I’m using. Disable updates for a particular plugin for WordPress is quite block the Plugin Update. higher than code snip referred to as the filter site_transient_update_plugins during which unset the plugin from update list and this can be by selection disable updates for plugin in WordPress

This function blocks updates from a specific plugin. Below is an example of facebook plugin. Here you need to change plugin main file url to match to that your plugin.

function my_filter_plugin_updates( $value ) {
if( isset( $value->response['facebook-comments-plugin/facebook-comments.php'] ) ) {
unset( $value->response['facebook-comments-plugin/facebook-comments.php'] );
}
return $value;
}
add_filter( 'site_transient_update_plugins', 'my_filter_plugin_updates' );
