404 Error And How To Fix It? Today we are going to discuss here the 404 Error and How to fix this error. The 404 error is one of the most common errors which occurs when the browser is not able to communicate with the server and could not fetch the results which were requested.
404 Error can be caused to any web page may it be WordPress, PHP, Joomla, Opencart, .Net, Java and more.
Below are some of the reasons for causing the 404 error
- Either the page URL or its content such as images or files or folder paths was changed, deleted or moved to a different location without updating the URL in the site.
- There are chances that the URL was written incorrectly by mistake or unknowingly (during the creation process or a redesign), linked incorrectly, or typed into the browser incorrectly
- The connection between the server and the website is broken, The server responsible for the website is not running or the connection is broken
- The requested domain can’t be pointing to the ip or its related domain name system (DNS).
- The entered domain name doesn’t exist (anymore)
